Never speak of this game! I never watched it again after that night. After the game I remember walking by someone I hadn't seen in years, we both looked at each other and just shook our heads, not even speaking .

The dome was quiet afterwards for the most part because it was damn near a home game. My wife and I walked outside and some Ohio State fan was heckling one of our fans. The Razorback fan commenced to beating the piss out of that guy while the crowd around them chanted. SEC SEC!! I had a great time. It was the only bowl game I've ever been to, and it unfortunately gave me a taste of what it could be like if we ever could get over the mountain we've been climbing for half a century.

I always felt bad for the guy beating the shite out tOSU fan. The cops were coming as I walked away. Would have sucked sleeping in a crescent city jail to top the night off.

So you're one of those who believes if Boise State had played in a real conference

At the time, I hated the fact that Boise only had a couple of real tough games a season, but they always won them.

I don't know that we will ever win another championship in football, but if you're contending then you have a chance.

So, again, my point is that if you hire a great coach then anything is possible. Enjoy your Sunday.

These 3 schools haven't competed in that arena in a recruits memory

Washington was in the playoffs last season and finished this year in the top 15 with a win away from probably top 8. This is a program that went an entire season without a single win. And in recent memory! 0-12. They are where they are for one reason and one reason only. It's their coach. A proven winner. With the right coach Arkansas has all the resources to constantly be a top 15 team with an occasional SEC title and shot at the playoffs.
