Boy, wouldn't they?

A strong presence in the Houston area period would be healthy.

IMG should be shut down, a prep school ran by a talent agency has to be a violation when the tuition is awarded as a scholarship
I couldn't agree more.

IMG's football program is the equivalent of the basketball mills.

Too many agents, AAU pimps, and greedy parents involved.

Just this week here in NBama a stud running back out od Decatur Austin High announced that he was transferring to IMG for his senior year.

The local paper asked the Austin coach for a comment and all he had to say was "I can't compete with Agents, their BS, and their money"......

College Football may soon be falling to the one-and-done situation that College Basketball has become.

IMG plucks the top talent from all over. The way people are getting fed up with them, I give it another 2-3 years before they are shutdown.

CtotheV, can't have an IMG pipeline because they have all new players every year. The teams that land IMG players have recruited that player for 2 or 3 years prior to senior year at IMG.

Not to mention Weinke is no longer at the program. He was who BA went to work with and helped us place Froholdt.

IMG is just the tip of the iceberg.

You can look at Don Bosco Prep in NJ and Bishop Gorman in Vegas also.

Times are a changing my friends but "cheating" is nothing new.

I was on the Hill back in the $MU Pony Express days and drove by Wilson Sharp every day and saw the 280Z's and Bronco's parked in the back lot.

It's been taken to a whole new level now days and as long as Football is bringing in muti million dollars to the major schools, and the NCAA is basically toothless, it's only going to get worse.

Ole Miss didn't become a recruiting powerhouse simply because some of the best high school football players in the country want to spend 2-3 years in Oxford, Ms.

RD is reporting that Patrick Hudson will visit last weekend of Jan.

Anyone put any credence in this?

He's the top 5 OL recruit out of Texas that's been committed to Baylor since he flipped from a&m quite a while back.

Seems to come out of the blue.

Clay Jennings has been in communication with him.

We've been in contact with him for a long time. Now will he actually take the visit? I'll believe it when he's on campus.

Every year, RD gets burned by some top level recruit. I believe Mr. Hudson just may be our candidate this go around.

Nah, Fulton.

Maybe RD gonna get the hat trick this year.

I'm not a critic of his, it's near impossible to accurately predict what some of these kids will do, and he reports for a school that doesn't exactly have the close rate of bama.

he did say he had recruited in Texas quite a bit previously. I'm sure it helped and hopefully he can convince this young man we are the right place for him.

I wonder if they'll shoot over to Illinois and see Sean Foster. He said Anderson would be in this week to see him.

From RD:

Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema, offensive coordinator Dan Enos and offensive line coach Kurt Anderson made an in-home visit with offensive line commitment Jake Heinrich this afternoon.

Heinrich, 6-4, 290 5.3 of Urbandale, Iowa said Anderson ripped his pants getting out of the private jet and had to buy some sweat pants for the visit. He said he was impressed with Anderson's focus on his family and he also likes his coaching style.

The visit lasted about two and half hours. Evidently the coaches are headed to Louisiana to make an in-home visit with quarterback commitment Cole Kelley. Heinrich and his parents will make their way to Fayettevile for an official visit next weekend.

Arkansas commitment Kiel Pollard, 6-2, 225, 4.68 of Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County arrived at South Carolina on Saturday for his official visit. He'll leave on Monday.

Linebacker Giovanni LaFrance, 6-1, 239, 4.80 of St Augustine High School in New Orleans said Bielema and receivers coach Michael Smith will make an in-home on Tuesday. He plans to make an official visit to Fayetteville on Jan. 22-24.

I'll signup for a Jean-Baptiste, Harris, LaFrance HS LB class and we add another JUCO as the fourth.
