He only has 100 followers so I'm thinking he's a wannabe.

Andrew Ivins ?@andrewrivins
Arkansas special teams coach Chris Hurd has joined Charlie Partridge’s staff at FAU. I’m told he will be working in a similar role.

The Arkansas Logo ?@Arkansas_Logo
Arkansas assistant Chris Hurd will be leaving for FAU to join Charlie Partridge.

Well, if Hedlund wanted a reason/excuse to flip to A&M he has it.

He was Special Teams Quality Control, not special teams coach.

Thomas and Smith handle that.

I doubt Hedlund has ever talked to him, tbh.

According to sources Oregon paid the retired defensive coordinator $350,000 per year. Lovie Smith is getting the Tampa job tonight. If, and I am saying if, Ash leaves for the NFL don't be surprised if Bielema ups Shannon's salary here and makes him DC.
One recruiting note from this is if Shannon Stays here there is a good chance Siffo Pierre, 6-4, 315, OG, could very well end up at Arkansas.
I have been told by a source that Bielema knows what Shannon may be able to do in January and it could make this class. JoJo Robinson, Mike Smith, Kendick Edwards, Siffo Pierre, Cornelius Floyd, Lamont Simmons and at least one kid I can't mention who is committed to a powerhouse could visit also.

We do our special teams by committee. A different coach has each of the four units. Who knows who in the world Hedlund has actually talked to in that regards.

Yep, no telling, although I'm sure he talked to the entire staff on recruiting visit.

Hopefully Hedlund sticks, I think he will moreso now than previously, but still wouldn't shock me if he flipped on NSD to A&M.

Oh and Rafe update today

quote:

According to someone I trust on Rafe, 3 days in a row he has been the best QB on his side. He got a lot of praise on Tuesday. They have told Rafe he plays the 3rd quarter in the order the QBs were selected to the game.

I'm laughing at these services hyping up Frazier this week, since the news came out that 5-star DT(who was bumped there because everybody said he was headed to Bama) Elam is headed to Kentucky now.

So, they've been raving about how "dominant" Frazier has been, so.... where was this "dominance" when he averaged 4 tackles per game for his career at Har-Ber?

Sounding like they needed somebody to hype up since Elam is not going to Bama now, 100 bucks he's downgraded to a 4-star after the All-star games.

If Wallace commits to Bama he will move to 5-star

If Wallace commit to Arkansas he will move up a few spots.

Dude was mediocre this year at Norman North. Only completed like 52% of his passes.
