I was curious why he wasnt rated by 247 yet, along with bout 30 other Arkansas kids.

He isn't rated by any of the sites.

yea but we expect more from 247

I will give Otis credit on this one because he did talk very highly about him after camp this summer and thought the Hogs would offer him back then.
Now he didn't follow up and push to have him rated at the time so that is on him.

If Otis saw him at camp why the heck isn't he rated? In fact with the army of contributors why aren't there 8 247 reps at the elite prospect camps for the major schools?
Otis did drop a crystal ball for the hogs on him about 45 min. ago though.

They basically have to go to bat on off the radar 3 star types and pitch them to the national guys. Otis is lazy about it.

Arkansas invited Parker's Chapel's Will Jones to walk on.
Played both Oline and Dlinemen for Chapel.
Although he has plenty of time to decide on where he’ll be playing collegiately, Parkers Chapel senior Will Jones received an invitation that football players across Arkansas are hopeful of getting.
On Tuesday, Jones received an invitation to be a preferred walk-on at Arkansas.
“I think it’s a great opportunity to have,” Jones said. “It’s definitely something I can look at doing. It’s a great opportunity.”
A two-way standout on both the offensive and defensive line, Jones helped guide the Trojans to the playoffs for the first time since 2010 this past season.
Jones, who said he holds offers from Henderson State, Arkansas-Monticello and Hendrix College, is planning on discussing the offer with his parents before making a final decision.
“I’m still thinking about it,” Jones said. “I’ve been offered by Henderson (State). I’ve got to sit down and talk about it with my parents and see where I want to go from there. I’ve got the Henderson offer and multiple others, so I’m just going to have to sit down and see which was one fits me best.”
Although Jones is currently a member of the Trojans’ basketball team, he does have a football commitment coming up, as the senior will be participating in the 10th annual All-American Bowl, which is being held in Panama City, Florida on January 3rd.

It would be nice to have a smart linebacker...Seems like the kind of kid Bielema thrived on at Wisconsin. Under-recruited, but after a couple of years in the program he might be something special. We need our own JJ Watt success story.

St. Louis (Mo.) University athlete Raymond Wingo still plans to take an official visit at Arkansas, but it won't be on the weekend of December 13 like he had originally planned.
Instead, the 6-0, 165-pounder with 4.31 speed will be back in Fayetteville on January 24. He confirmed the new visit date after spending an hour with Arkansas offensive line coach Sam Pittman on Monday...
