Peavey isn't recommitting which is a good thing. He is better than any of their state guys this year.

No doubt. By far and away better than the three I'm talking about. I don't think we have anything to worry about with him either. He is extremely fired up about Arkansas.

Frazier offered by Texas A&M.

Might as well just say Frazier offered by everyone

Finally offered Terrance Alexander. He's up for grabs probably with the DB pull out of state LSU will get.

Frazier's going to be the most recruited player out of Arkansas to date. Partridge is gonna have to do black magic to keep him home.
I can attest to it, growing up in NWA. I always dreamed about being able to go away, get off the farm and out of country and make it in a big city where things were happening. I love the Bay Area, and parts of Florida will likely find myself back in one of those spots if I don't give up all hope and settle down and become a lifer with the company I just hired on with.
The draw of bigger/better is hard to resist for an ambitious Arkansas kid.

More on the 8:32 update involving Terrence Alexander. He said he may come up to Fayetteville with his teammates, receiver Malachi Dupre, linebacker Kenny Young and safety Mattrell McGraw next weekend. The Hogs offer is Alexander's 14th.

Highly recruited safety Jamal Adams of Carrollton, Texas, Hebron said he doesn't have an exact time when he narrows his list of 20 offers but Arkansas will make the cut. He's thinking of narrowing the list to at least a top seven. Hog defensive end Deatrich Wise, who attended Hebron, has spoken well of Arkansas and that has him hoping to visit the Razorbacks this summer.
He thinks with Coach Bret Bielema Arkansas has a very good chance of getting back to where they were before the 2012 season.
Adams said he's being recruited by cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson, who visited the school during the contact period before the signing day. He has good things to say about Johnson.
He played on the varsity as a freshman and even started about midway through the season and he said Wise took him under his wing and that led to a quick bonding process. The two had lockers next to one another. He said Wise like a big brother to him and looked up to Wise because of his hard work and other qualities.
Adams, who also has offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Florida, hopes to visit the Hogs this summer.

I might be wrong, but it seems like the youth in Arkansas don't have the same hometown pride as kids did when I was growing up. Is it just a desire to get away from home and expand their horizons, or do they have a dislike for the state. I am curious as to what you guys think about it.

Malachi Dupre is one I would love to land but we will battle everyone in the country for him. He is one of the top WR out there. That same school also has a 2015 DB who is starting to get some big offers. If Coach Smith walks in to New Orleans and gets any of those players then we will be in good shape.

Same High School as Bua and Charpentier so we have somewhat of a presence there. John Curtis has been cranking out D1 talent for over 30 years, so a lot of schools have as much or more presence than we do.
I would be happy with any of the players previewed.

I don't want to ever hear those 2 words associated with Arkansas football ever again.

How many of those guys are we offering?
Posted on 2/28/13 at 6:20 pm to Hubbhogg
Day and Gragg already have offers. Sam should be getting an offer most likely this weekend if not soon afterwards. Down the line I could see us offering Hall, Ota, Curtis and Murray depending how the class comes together.

I was reading the Wisconsin 247 board after seeing the story about us offering one of their commits, one of the 1st replies.
Look at this guy coming after our guys, guess he is having trouble recruiting lineman down there in pig country?
Yea, he only signed 4 All-American OL in the 2013 class.

Too bad Beard can't visit for the Kentucky game, another Ark kid that went out of state should have a fun time Saturday.
