Interesting, didn't realize that you lived in Stillwater.

Just moved back last weekend. Taking some classes that OSU only offers in Stillwater and doesn't seem to be willing to honor the transfer if I take em elsewhere. Thug POS.
The crap thing about college is by the time you realize that you're not in a school that's as good as they pretend, it's too late you're too far in and you've spent too much $ to explore other options.
So yea if you need boots on the ground info I'm the Stillwater source for the next year.

My inlaws are both OSU grads and they have been trying to convince my wife and I to go to a game with them. I've been thinking about actually going while they're actually good.

You can park at my place, I'm about 4 blocks from the stadium and 2 blocks from where the Northside tailgating starts.
Funny thing, before I transfered here, I did tell the Biz school's dean that OSU had to get better in football and the 2 seasons I've been here have been the best in school history. I fully expect when I leave in the spring, to never, ever return to Stilly, that the football program will plunge to a level where 7-8 win seasons are all they can hope for.
The tailgating atmosphere has really improved and people are nice. The in-stadium atmosphere will not leave you awe-inspired. I never could put a finger on it but there's an element missing that the SEC has and seemingly no one else does. There's an excitement level and energy in SEC stadiums that I've never noticed in other parts of the country.
I wish Arkansas and OSU would play a series, I thought if we lost the SW Classic forever then OSU would def. want to play in the Metroplex. I'd be all for playing 1 in LR and 1 in Dallas and 2 in LR when the "away" years rotate in.

Do we have any video on Harding? I assume RD has posted several.

You guys see the Hogville thread about Tenpenny? There's a pic of Derrick Henry at the bottom in a Bama jersey and wads of cash. Kids/boosters just don't even care anymore b/c the NCAA don't care.

He has a handler through Team Thad though that some have already said was shady so if you travel outside of me I would prepare yourself to read comments accusing Haith of shady recruiting tactics and the inevitable steering for money comments.

Reading's not your strong point apparently.
Keep flaming in a recruiting thread though. Probably one of the quickest ways to get banned around here.

That's just snarkalicious, Chesire. But yes I read what you said and it's rather passive-aggressive, don't you think? You can pawn it off as "well that's the rumor so you better be ready for others to suggest that he was bought and paid for, though I myself won't say it" but you just *did* post the insinuation. And for the moment (since I don't read Hogville) yours is the only post I've read containing that insinuation. I could post that some people think life on Earth was begun thanks to an alien named Xenu, but I don't buy that theory so I don't bother telling others about it. Posting it as "well hey, you didn't hear this from me, but be advised, some people are gonna tell you that..." is just another way of putting the same insinuation out there into cyberspace.

That's fine and dandy. You read in to it how you would like. The thing is URHatin and I talk back and forth on recruiting a lot. That was just answering his question honest and straightforward. Sorry you didnt appreciate the response.
I have no reason to lie and I have no reason to flame Missouri. I live in Missouri and have a lot of Mizzou friends. Flaming Mizzou because they got a commit out of Arkansas is not high on my list of priorities. Sorry to ruin your awesome flame attempt though. Excellent use of the Alice gif though. Don't think that I didn't appreciate the irony.

Rockin'. So tell me straight up then, do you think based on whatever rumors or posts you are reading that Haith bought and paid for this player? And if not, why post it even as a "rumor that others are sure to tell you once you venture outside of just me" etc? If you're as cool and reasonable a poster as you strive to be (or want to try to contrast yourself from me as for whatever reason, whatever) then you gotta know that putting posts out there like that is exactly how internet rumors like that get legs in the first place. What good does it do your Mizzou friends and acquintances to have internet chatter that their hoops coach is buying players? And what reaction exactly should I as a Mizzou fan have? Rather than a flame, you might want to consider the view that me just posting some whimsical GIFs that by their very nature are not all that serious in tone is actually a lot more restrained and nicer a way of reacting to that insinuation about my team than some fans would. Think it over for a second from that angle, then maybe we are cool. I got no beef with you on my end, I can say that for sure. But the content of the post, whether its second hand rumor you are hearing or not, does not put Coach Haith in the greatest of lights, you gotta realize that.
