You don't want Leach. You can do much better than him. Leach is a good candidate for talent starved schools like Tech or Washington State

Will Gulley be able to play next season?

The size difference off the bench between this year and next year is going to be huge.

No surprise. I think my favorite and saddest part of the evening was the fact that despite all of their hard work this week to burn Bobby at the stake, the local media was scooped once again when it counted by the national media.

While they were tweeting that Petrino was staying with heavy sanctions, Joe Schaad swoops in and drops the bomb that Petrino had been fired.

Bittersweet because my favorite coach of all-time was fired but at least I get to the the dumbass local media get taken to the woodshed.

Watching Iowa State's bowl game from last season right now and I do not like their offense at all. They run a no-huddle shotgun spread offense. I am definitely not a fan of that offense from where we are at now. That would be a big step back in my opinion. Rhoads would have to change philosophies if I was the AD before I would ever offer him.

Rhoades' defenses at Auburn were meh. But that might be because of Tubbs getting lazy on the recruiting trail. I would avoid those two if I was Arkansas.

I think he's a defensive guy so I'm sure he's not tied to one offense. If I were y'all I'd also give Gundy a why the frick not call, even though Pickens will probably match anything you offer him and then some.

Man I laughed out him and OSU last year and now I just feel sad for them because I tonight I understand their pain.

Of course they hired Urban Meyer without so much as an interview where we will have to interview a ton of guys.

Is there any payoff on his show clause?

No, you can hire him but you have accept the penalties his school was given.

Funny enough, I found this article by Andy Staples that makes it seem like it wouldn't be that bad. Basically, he is saying that you would have to incur the 5 game suspension all those players had and the one year bowl ban and that's it.

Really not to shabby of a deal if he is truly that good of a coach.

Maybe someone should forward this along to Long.
