I think AC calls the Hogs on Monday. I'm sure he wants to commit to Miami but he also wants to play in bowl games and go where it best prepares him for the NFL. Right now Arkansas is a better place to be than Miami.

You have to imagine that Big Balls has thrown everything at him too. "You are the center piece of our offense for years to come. We are building everything we do around you. We will recruit to fit your game from here on out. If you thought Ball had good stats, you aint seen shite." Something like that maybe? And...SEC SEC SEC.

If we get him. since online recruiting sites has existed, Arkansas has never landed a out of state 5-star. 6 years of Nutt, 4 Years of Petrino and one year of JLS never did it. Bielema could do it in 3 months.

And then so it begins...the first domino falls...

Richard Davenport ?@ArRecruitingGuy Arkansas will play Korliss Marshall of Osceola at safety should he pledge to the Hogs. Great athlete that could make an impact in secondary

HiV has been dead set on only 2 runningbacks being offered, so that number had to have came from a payboard somewhere.

Marshall + Evans = 2.

But like I said early Marshall =/= RB, I think he's being offered as an ATH.

So Collins + Evans = 2 to support their 2 running back theory.

Real talk about tonights recruits. "I didnt see an SEC running back in the room. Some damn good looking athletes but not near thick enough to take that beating at their height. I think Korliss could add the weight over time but we need someone to add depth this season. Would love to see all of these guys as DBs corners and Safeties.I just didnt see a running back there but hey Tally and M Smith didnt exactly pass the eye test either. The kid from NJ looks like an LSU Safety prospect he could also make a great looking WR/Slot. He had some awesome stats as a QB 2000 in the air another 1000 rushing for over 40 TDs. IMO we will be in trouble at RB without an AC or 10P Commit. So Im saying we may be in for a long season at RB if/when JWill has to miss any PT. Fingers crossed that Im flat out wrong.....I just dont feel like I am though."

Not saying that DW is a better evaluator of talent than 2 Beez but he does see a lot of recruits.

I still think Collins will be a Hog.

Interesting. I thought that Evans looked like a pretty big kid. Guess not.

The downside about having to take a backup is that they are 100% going to have to play in the fall. Even if they arrive in June that's still not much time at all to get ready physically.

Agreed, Kody Walker has size but has shown to be injury prone and Holmes is just too small IMO.

So I'll keep my hopes up on Collins.

ETA:
"Two things. 1., Arkansas has not yet offered Evans. 2., It looks like Arkansas wants Marshall as a safety."

Trey Biddy

I suppose that debunks the Evans tweet last night

Hopefully Evans truly knows that he hasn't actually been offered yet and doesn't awkwardly try to commit on his way out of town tomorrow. That would suck for the kid.

Who is DW? Danny West? 99.9% sure it was someone else on the board that posted that.

No disrespect to Danny West...He's only been doing this a little over a year and was a regular poster until then...Don't know how he got the job. He may be qualified..

Any chance Collins is mad at Miami for doing that to Kirkland?

No kidding? I did not know that. So our two best recruiting guys (RD & DW) were both just message board posters before they got their current jobs? Awesome.

If the worst case scenario happens and we don't get Collins or 2nickels then I think our backup to JWill will be Jojo Wynn the walk on. I saw a pic of him on twitter and he's JACKED.

I might just have to apply for a job at 247. They are in need of some fresh blood over there.

Who is this JoJo Wynn that everyone is talking about? I've seen people talking about him on a couple of sites now. I know he is walk-on but that's all I got.

Wynn is a RB who came in with the 2012 class as a preferred walk on. He missed his senior year due to an injury so the only highlights out there are of him as a junior and at this point they are 3 years old. Looked like a good balanced back. He wasnt afraid of contact and knew how to stay on his feet. He won't be outrunning any secondaries on wheel routes like Williams will be but based on the pictures I've seen and heard, he has developed into a pretty good tailback over the past year and will be a solid pair of fresh legs when needed.
