What's the news on this past weekend's visits? I can't look back through all these pages. Saw that we got Koehler, any other pertinent info? Thanks

Yeah I'm very confused. They are falling all over themselves with Ke'Tyrus Marks but might pass on Nelson now after being all about him thee last two weeks. Makes no sense.

Only way this could make sense is that Rivals could somehow be wrong and Marks somehow turns out to be the better prospect.

That's impossible.

Yea, I'm confused also

8:47 UPDATE: A.J. Tucker will be visited by Barry Lunney Jr. Friday morning.

Won't that be some shite if BLJr can close instate recruits with a week on the job when Horton couldn't with 5 years on the job.

I'm with Hubbs. If you're not checking the thread every 2 hours like clockwork this time of the year you're gonna get left eating dirt.

5:01 UPDATE: Just confirmed with 4-star OL Denver Kirkland's father that he still plans to visit Arkansas this weekend. They just confirmed it with Coach Shannon. I know there was a report elsewhere that said he wasn't visiting Arkansas this weekend, but he is.

Can he bring his teammate, Matthew Thomas, along?

You can count on one hand how many recruits that Arkansas offered in state in the last five years that committed elsewhere.

What the frick is up with you guys tonight? Didn't exactly bring your "A" game.

shite, I need to go back to Hogville to get away from all the whining and bitching.

Maybe they just found out the kids an a-hole.

Seems like there's so much more about recruiting than *s and size and tape. Maybe coaches fall out on guys because it takes them some time to realize they'd be a bad fit. I've always just felt there's a lot more to this process than what sites can realistically know.

Yikes, don't want ya to have to do that.

So in a nutshell there wasn't really a whole lot of surprises. Sam Irwin-Hill got his commitable offer from the new staff, and he's locked in. Drew Morgan is locked in and shutting down recruiting, not gonna visit Auburn not taking any more calls or accepting visits.

Reeve Koehler is down for the Hawaiian Hog Call. The Catfish Hole atmosphere blew him and parents away, we feel the atmosphere can be recreated anywhere the program decides to host, it's not just a mystical afghans on the wall Catfish Hole thing.

Khari Harding had his offer pulled before the weekend, coaches cooled on him, likely due to pulling some shite regarding Auburn. Tim and Gus continue their tour of retribution. Recruiting against Arkansas and not against Bama, FSU, UGA, LSU, TN is going to put the Gus Bus out of commission quicker than anything.

A good number of commits finally took their OV, Hunter Henry, Tevin Beanum, Drew Morgan, Martell Spaight, Austin Allen, Brignoni, Ellis etc. So 7 of 12 were in state kids that were already committed.

Tenpenny was dared by Beanum to call the hogs at the Catfish Hole and stood up on a chair and led the place in a hog call. I don't think we'll flip him but with the way Bama's depth chart is paired with who they're bringing in and them still after Kamara Tenpenny would be an impact player right away at Arkansas while at Alabama 2 or 3 of those RB's are gonna have to play defense or get processed.

Dominque Alexander a former commit that jumped as soon as he got an OU offer made a visit and met with the new staff, I'm not sure why we wasted an OV with him unless he's expressed interest to Taver in coming back on the side of the good guys.

Dan Skipper is an unknown still as far as I know. Reports are that his parents were blown away and he was really impressed by the academic support and the facilities as many schools just give them lip service. He really likes Pittman and Chaney so I'm hoping we can land him since Bielema's track record with putting linemen in the NFL is much better than any of the other coaches that are in it to the end with Skipper.
