I love, love, love, love driving in icy/snowy conditions.
When everyone else is huddled up safe at home I extremely enjoy hitting the roads at 3 or 4 am before the snow plows have been sent out and just carve up doughnuts and go powersliding through parking lots and finding an open field to ramble through, then hitting the hilly dirt roads for sunrise and some shitty gas station cappucino.
Be safe out there and don't try to drive like me.

I'm at a hotel tonight. Had 10 inches measured in my ole ladies gas station parking lot this morning. I drove from Jacksonville to Sherwood, to Conway, then out past green brier n back around today. Jacksonville had the worst and my street was the worst one I saw all day. FML

Made it back to Chattanooga at about 1:00 this morning. Ended up going 67-167 to Bald Knob and took 64 to Memphis. It looked like there were tons of delays on I-40 East. After Cabot the roads were completely dry on 67 and they weren't bad on 64. Glad I missed out on all the delays.

All hunkered down at the padres. Had power for awhile and lost it again. Still no power at my house.

How's LR area looking? I've got a meeting down there as soon as roads are safely passable and power is back to normal.

Entergy says LR has lots of damage and some places could take 7+ days to get power back. Roads should be fine.

Thanks for the heads up. As I get older I'm less inclined to take risks.

I've getting it bad here in Oklahoma right now. The ground was almost all clear of snow, and it's covered again.

YAY!!! finally getting my snow! I've had my head buried in a book the last hour and I looked up and everything is covered.
A friend posted on fb it was snowing in Tulsa a few hours ago, I didn't even consider it'd actually snow here after my xmas letdown.

Keep it all up there, I've had my fill. I see crews from other states are coming/here already. Maybe things will start moving quickly.
