AP - David Palmer

Palmer wouldn’t have even seen the field during the Saban era. He’s overrated.

Yes to Jordan. DH couldn’t hang with our WRs today.

Any list without Dwight Stephenson at center is crazy IMO. 5× Pro Bowl (1983–1987) 5× First-team All-Pro (1983–1987) NFL Man of the Year (1985) NFL 1980s All-Decade Team NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team Miami Dolphins Honor Roll (1994) 2× National champion (1978, 1979) 2× Second-team All-American (1978, 1979)

This is an All-Bama team. To me that means NFL career doesn’t matter. MFBATR was the most dominant RB we’ve had imho.

This would be my guy. The kick in Knoxville was just about as big as Tiffin's against Auburn.

Bear Bryant said he was the best center he ever coached, so that's good enough for me.

One observation I have regarding lists like this is as heralded as the '92 defense was it's rare that anyone lists a player from that group.

I was going to suggest Teague, but he was a free safety, and I think Eddie Jackson probably had a better career.

Copeland and Curry were probably as good at defensive end as any we've had.
