Anderson just brushed past coach like yeah, whatever, and kept going. That concerns me.

That really doesn’t bother me. Coach probably doesn’t have a whole lot of time for that during a game and for all we know he told Keaton to get his dumb arse out of his face.

Keaton is done after this season anyway. I wish we’d get others prepared like Nigel Knott or kyrique McDonald

My main take is that we still have no fricking clue how to cover an eligible receiver coming out of the backfield.

1. Bama’s offense continues to lose focus for long stretches of each game.

2. The coaches are playing personnel politics at times.

3. If he had time, Tua’s accuracy is incredible.

4. Tua needs to learn to go down or throw it away when a play is blown up.

5. This is Saban’s worst Bama defense.

Bonus: Bama’s coaching staff has been exposed in the last 2 games. Fortunately, Bama has the talent to overcome.

It’s going to be tough for some of us to emotionally transition after Saban retires....I can already see it. Hopefully it will be later rather than sooner....

07, 08, 13, and 14 defenses were worse than this one. 08 was a very good unit but personnel wise they wouldn’t match up very well today

I disagree but losing like 6 of your top DBs has an effect on how you scheme.

I think it’s 70% personnel and 30% coaching.

The LBs are bad, corners are young, and there isn’t great quality depth.

Exactly...Tua was 10 for 10 when ok blitzed. And 14/17 when they didn't. He was great the whole game no matter what ok did.

Most great teams play with that confidence that can lead to those penalties...don't agree with it just happens alot.

The 08 defense was considerably better.

The 13 & 14 squads were also better due to LB play/personnel.

13 and 14 got shredded so many times. Don’t see how you can say they’re better when bama just played the best offense we’ve seen under the saban era and actually did pretty well. And the 08 defense was good no doubt. That’s more of a debate but I don’t think we had many difference makers up front. Great LB play though. Not sure how well they could cover some of the offenses however

2. As a result of #1, Alabama lost their collective cool and played very undisciplined which contributed greatly to allowing OU back in the game.

The two things that I'm worried about that will bet us beat are this and our pass defense. Davis and Anderson's penalties are absolutely inexcusable. I said it in another thread and was criticized for it, but IMHO, Davis compounded it even worse by getting on with Tebow, Spears, and the rest of the SECN crew after the game and laughing about it. That makes me wonder how much really sinks in with him.

At least Football Jesus won't run all over the field on us, but he may throw it all over the stadium. He may be more vulnerable against pressure than Murray, but our pass rush is going to need to make life miserable for him.

Long stretches? We had one player get a couple of critical penalties on one drive.

Give a specific example, or STFU with this.

Exactly one sack and 0 hurries all night. How many of his passes hit the ground? Two???

What game did you watch?

Which part of the coaching staff? This was arguably Locksley's finest performance...which is even more incredible given what some would suggest would be going through his mind with his new job.

I only have one takeaway or question, rather. Why did Tua not seem very confident about his ankle during post game interview? and what was he saying about it when he was laying in the confetti?
