the play call at the end of the game. He also knew the play calls of every other close game BAMA has lost or won.

Hanging the OC out to dry might be new behavior, but Rees ain’t on the sideline for arse chewings like idiot savant Kiffin was. And Sark didn’t ever do much to get his arse chewed.

Brian Dabol was absolutely handcuffed in 2017, and Fat Mike Locksley had a healthy Tua in 2018.

Prior to Kiffin, the defense could play football and hit people, so it was a different game.

Of course he was aware. It was Tommy’s call but Nick signed off on it and that’s because he trusts his playcaller.

Ppl need to relax on this play. I was not a fan of the call but it’s one play man. That alone didn’t determine the game. We used to dominate teams like Michigan. This one shouldn’t have been close when we held them to 13 through 25 min of the 2nd half. If we put up 30 pts then it’s not a problem.

It’s hard to dominate like we did defensively back then without game wreckers up front but our defense still did enough. It was on our offense.

I don’t blame Tommy for that one call. I blame Tommy, Milroe and our O line for being pretty gross offensively all year.

We went from never scoring under 35 pts in a game to rarely scoring over 27 in a game.

Gotta get better offensively. Period. Whatever the answer is.

Tbf it should be noted that this was a veteran, senior laden team in Michigan who was ready for this moment. Their 3rd playoff trip. They went against an erratic, young Bama team and barely won in OT. That should be taken in.

This was Michigan’s best team ever vs one of Bama’s worst teams ever under Nick. Feels like 2014 when we lost to Ohio State.

OK..I made the painful decision to watch some of the highlights of the game. While the last play can be scrutinized for a variety of issues, take a look at the play from 2nd and goal where Jase got blown up. If Milroe keeps it, he waltzes into the end zone

Was that a read or a called run? I’ll have to rewatch…if that was a read then we really have terrible luck with running QBs apparently. Milroe is an electric athlete but of course he doesn’t know how to run the read option. Never did it in HS.
