It's absolutely BoB's fault for running a play that has far more possibilities of a bad outcome...dropped pass, sack, interception. In that situation, a good OC removes all the likely risks while improving field position.

Especially pointing out that Saban should have taken hold of the situation like when he cussed BOB out for throwing with Milroe on that 1st in goal from the 3 yard line against Arkansas.
Saban should have taken hold of the situation and told BOB to run a play to center the ball because we're just trying to win or go in overtime.
