It is unlikely we can score into the thirties, we just are consistent on offense. Expect 2 quarters of three n outs. Alabama WR core struggled to get open against lesser competition. The main offense will be milroe extending plays which will be boom or bust

I wouldn't say that we're a consistent offense and I wouldn't say our WRs struggled to get open either in the first three games. Perhaps they get their open looks by scheme but I'd argue that was a big part of the 2020 offense for everyone other than Smith. Even then Sark created free releases and space for Smith as teams started to focus on him more later in the season.

I agree that how they hold up against elite DB talent is one of the big factors of this game but scheme can create easier looks too. How they got open doesn't matter as much as being open and making a catch. For example, Cuevas didn't do anything special on his long TD besides being the guy running the route that'd be wide open based on the play call and defensive call.

That play setup was all about thesystem (play called). Alabama put one TE down each hash and made the safety pick one. The safety picked left (where Milroe looked first) then Milroe threw to the right. Either choice the safety made was going to result in a TE wide open down the seam.

I am more concerned with the offense

UGA DB are pretty good. Their edge appears to be the weakness. If Alabama hammers the edges, the safeties will have to come up faster to keep 4 yard runs from becoming 8+ yard runs. That is where play-action passing game would need to kick in. Route planning to get a WR/TE in the grass between a CB and the safety that does not crash the run. If the TE is the one you are looking at 15-20 yard plays. If the WR is the one chosen to hit the seem, then 20+ to jail break is what you would be hoping for.

Guessing the probables will play...though Young may not see the field unless something bad happens.
