re: What I'd like to see the next two games

The reason I'm giving Simpson somewhat of a pass is because of his lack of experience with game reps. This was his first real game experience where he wasn't just turning and handing off or getting to pass two times then taking a knee. His completion percentage wasn't good (53%), but he did throw for 254 yards and 2 TDs. AJ McCarron in his first start was eight points better in completion % but only threw for 163 yards and 1 td averaging about the same yards per attempt as Simpson did. I think Simpson was asked to do too much in his first start, especially on the road in a hostile environment.

We should have been able to run the ball on them all day but our OL decided to fall completely apart after the second series.
