LSU's DBs won't be super phased by the athleticism of Alabama's receivers as they see it in practice every day

All due respect to those guys because they're good football players, but they don't have a single one that's beating any of our 4 in a footrace over any distance between 10 and 100 yards. Jeudy had a great game last year and it could have been a lot better. He got 10 yards behind Fulton on a post but Tua couldn't get it to him.

To our lurkers, you can verify that with HS track times that are available on the internet. Line up 8 of them at the goal line in a race to the other and it'll be 4 guys in crimson with the lead after 10 yards and never relinquishing it.

This is not to put down the LSU receivers, the top 3 are really good. Chase and Jefferson are both tough and catch the ball well in traffic and are good after the catch. Marshall is a big bodied dude that's a threat in the redzone. I'm hoping when they get down there that Diggs follows him around. I'd rather not see Pat in perfect coverage on him only to fail at getting his head around and locating the football

The over / under for this game set by Vegas is 64. That should tell you Vegas doesn't expect a high scoring game. Probably a 31-28 or 35-28.

Boz said in one of these threads that he's likely out until the end of November

there will be some punting

I am a little concerned with how slow Perine is at getting his punts off. I am guessing LSU will test him.

Honestly, I almost expect them to block one. Just hope it doesn't cost us the game.
