My uncle retired from NASA. He was an engineer on the Apollo projects and Spacelab.
My favorite NASA story was when they needed a new parking lot and cleared off all of the trees near an existing canal and swamp in the process. They paved the lot and thought all was good until the alligators figured out the best shade to regulate heat was the employees' cars.
that is a shitty delay after a long days work. These were the same brilliant minds that put a man on the moon.

Found these in his stuff last month when I was helping him after a medical scare. They are his original test logs for the Apollo 11 spacecraft, launch vehicle and support systems ~2 weeks before the launch
