I know Virginia wins, but I hate this style of ball.

Is there any time limit on when Kira has to make a decision or can he stay in the portal for perpetuity?

Kira would have been done taken his name out of the portal. His Mama is making him look around IMO

That’s a good question. I would imagine the timeline would have to be the first term of summer school.

I think he stays unless he gets an offer from someone like Duke. Doesn't make any sense to make a lateral move to somewhere like Iowa State and have to sit out a year, especially with all they went through to get him reclassified. Plus be way farther away from home. We all know how close he and his moma are, can't see her letting the bird get that far away from the nest.

I expect us to go after a grad transfer or a JUCO PG regardless of whether Kira stays or goes.

Kira is the only PG we have with any experience.

Here's something I found out looking at Buffalo's roster.

One of Buffalo's guards, Davonta Jordan, went to Montverde Acadamy in Florida.

LINK

This is the same school that Harlond Beverly, the 4 star point guard Oats offered recently goes to.

LINK

So our staff must already have a relationship with the coaching staff at Montverde.

Maybe we aren't as much of a longshot to get Beverly as it appeared.
