It was bookmarked. There you go making assumptions again and trying to pass it off as facts. I posted that one because I saw it and it made me laugh because I don’t know why it was marked.
Also have this from someone and I have no idea why
No clue why I have it

I did find this from May though that I said about about Quinerly, It's the only prediction on a player that I can find that I made before the early signing period.
Then later I said
and guess what?? I was right!!!
quote:
He listed Alabama, Pitt, Georgia, and Arky as his top 4 a couple of weeks ago, assumed he is gonna visit Arky and Georgia too but haven't heard. If he doesn't he could commit to us very soon, I think we are the clear leader right now. As good as I hear our visit went I was really surprised he didn't commit on the visit.
Then later I said

I will be surprised if he doesn't commit in the next 24 hours.

You also said Grant was a bad hire and then less than a year later you said something else.

if you look at the analytic stuff, we were 12 points better on the defensive end per 100 possessions when Herb (Jones) was on the floor, and he was by far and away our best defensive leverage guy. Yale was 18 points better when Jordan Bruner was on the floor per 100 possessions on the defensive end versus when he was off the floor. Bruner’s a +18 and Herb’s a +12 on the defensive end.
Oh My Lord.

One thing that I was wrong about. I thought we would miss the tournament in Oats’ second season. I fully expect us to make the tournament. I thought it would take him longer to get the right guys

I was obviously wrong about us making the elite in his first year haha but I think I was being a little sarcastic. I did think we would for sure make the second round and of course we didn’t. We should be good this year it looks like. I’m excited.

Bruner’s stats against big name teams are really impressive.
That made a believer out of me

11pts 9reb is what he averaged against P5 competition at Yale. And that’s in a slow pace offense. Real excited

If we can just start the season off stronger than last, then we could have a really good year. Top 5 SEC team.

How long is that $500k for? One year, two? Five? It’s not life changing money. It’s good money while it lasts but it’s not a slamdunk decision unless you need money. I think Zion would back me on this.
500k isn’t life-changing money? Are you shitting me? Not to mention his college is being provided. I can only assume that you are pulling in some major dough to say 500k isn’t life-changing for a HS kid.

I’m not saying anything cause I’m a jinx...... but I am just glad we will basically have a new team next year

I’m going to say it....
I think John Petty returns to Alabama.

I am interested to see if Brown turns down the 400K and goes to Texas. Seems like it will be hard to turn down but if he does that could be telling.
Hell Naz Reid got 300k to go to LSU alledgedly and still got to enjoy all the benefits of playing in college and he wasn’t even a top 15 player in his class.

I think he’s gone, but I really don’t know shite
I’ve never been a Petty fan, but I do believe we’d be better if he came back.

I hope we schedule better, playing a Penn team that returned everyone in the first game was dumb and Oats has said as much, that got us off on the wrong foot. We had too hard of an OOC schedule in general for a new coach trying to teach a new system.

Predicted that we would get Primo when you were busy freaking out over a Cecil Hurt tweet and acting like we wouldn't.
Predicted we would get Bruner.
The only prediction you've been right about was that we wouldn't make the NCAAT and you were only right because we had 6 injuries and Quinerly's waiver got denied.
I'd say you have a ways to go to catch up with me in the good prediction department.
This is not a good look. Do you really want people to pull up your posts from before the early signing period? Why the not-so-humble brag? Making a crazy amount of optimistic predictions means you’re going to get a few right...

I also predicted Quinerly would come here before he committed, I need to edit that.

You also have to consider that right now only LSU and maybe Memphis are paying that kind of money and think of the risk that is involved with it. If they’re busted for it they could be the next Brian Bowen. Ayton was the top player in his class and he supposedly only got 100k for his year of college. I think if these G-league offers are in the 300-500k range, you’ll either see a lot of the top 10 talents go that route or if they don’t the college pay-to-play route has upped the ante.
