Kira is good, but he's not Hardin, Young and he's certainly not Curry

Do yourselves a favor and get out of this thread. Alabama basketball is a myth.

The nba draft is based on potential, this is why they used to draft players straight out of HS and still would if not for the NCAA one year rule. Kira is plenty ready to go to the NBA.

The distinction people are making with Kira isn't whether an NBA team will draft him. With his speed/quickness etc. . . I'd be surprised if he didn't get drafted at the lower end of the 1st round.

It's that he may stand a lot to gain --more than Petty in my opinion -- in playing another college season in being ready to excel in the NBA without a lot of growing pains.

I'm not sure it's fair to use the term "heart" about Kira. However, I do know what the poster above means. Kira seems to let get pressure situations get to him and affect his play. That's something another year of maturity can likely help a lot as well.

He'd be more likely to drop in the draft if he came back another year than left now.

1. He would be a year older which would make him less attractive than a younger player with a similar skillset.

2. Going by production this year he has been a top 3 guard. He is literally at his college ceiling.

Ya'll saying he needs to come back one more year and get an NBA ready body and become great on defense so he can be drafted higher don't know how the draft works. Neither of those things would get him drafted any higher. Him being young is more important than either of those.

It's freshmen and sophomores being drafted in the first round every year, not Juniors and Seniors.

It doesn’t help that it’s just a shitty day outside. Just makes the suck of last night linger longer

I know and work has gone by so slow too.

I’m a maintenance man at a hospital and there is Shockingly nothing to do inside and because of the rain I can’t do anything outside. So I’m sitting in a chair doing nothing and time is going so slow.

He would still be a year older and less attractive to NBA teams than he is right now, him being the same age as Edwards, Maxey, Cole etc is helping his draft stock a lot.

Can’t wait to win at Missouri by 20 now that it doesn’t matter

I don't think point #1 applies that strongly since, age wise, he would still be on the younger side of declaring sophomores even after next season.

Weight room work or improving his defense likely would not make much difference since NBA teams can just as easily help him in that regard.

I do think him coming back and establishing himself as more of a go-to leader on a winning team would help his confidence and that would translate to him actually being ready to excel more quickly in the NBA when he arrives as opposed to just getting drafted as a project with massive upside.

I do also realize that about 1 of 20 potential pros in any sport seem to base decisions on how they could prepare to perform after they are drafted instead of just getting drafted.

Alex Reese has gone 18/73 from the 3 point line since the LSU game in BR.

So a guy shooting under 25% is jacking up over 6 of them per game. Dude is fricking worthless

He is likely gonna be a first rounder not sure how him going would be a bad decision.

It’s not likely his production is gonna increase next year, he is a top 3 guard in college this year based on his production. More likely that it would decrease plus he would be a year older

I know as Bama fans we want him to come back but it would be dumb for him to.

Yeah. Mostly just fights between Family members on the Delivery floor waiting room..

Then there was one time where these 2 women got into a full blown fist fight in the ICU waiting room over an episode of Maury.

Oh we are 100% winning Saturday. Zero doubt In my Mind. Honestly I wouldn’t be shocked if we made it to Saturday of the SECt because now it doesn’t matter unless we win the whole thing.

We shouldn't have had 5 players get injured this year but stuff happens.

Nate went 37-30 in his first two years at Buffalo and went 59-13 the following two years.
