All that link does is show why he should gamble on another season and showing teams he can stay healthy to be a top 5 pick.
Being picked in the second or third round is a significant loss.
As I told someone else on the board, the next contract isn't guaranteed. So you have to make sure each one you get you take full advantage and get your best leverage. It's a blessing, so make the most it.

Who said he wouldn't get the first?

You don't know what they are thinking currently.

He does not currently have loss of value insurance, but his parents could certainly pay to add that option for 2020, which should pay him high first round money if he gets hurt again.

Sounds like he wants to stay with his brother.

Those policies are difficult to collect on at least to the extent the player expects. Hard to prove how high you would have gone and thus hard to prove the amount of your loss. Plus at this point the underwriting on that kind of policy for Tua would be difficult in terms of both the premium as well as the value of the policy given that they would be placing the policy based on Tua’s current post hip injury state.

He's one more below-the-waist injury from being looked past by the NFL.
And he has yet to finish a season even moderately healthy

Saw this tidbit in WalterFootball's mock draft, which projects Tua to go 10th to the Chargers.
Hadn't heard this before, but they seem to think Tua might miss all of the 2020 season.

Formerly projected to be the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Tagovailoa's career has been put in jeopardy because of a devastating hip injury. He's likely to miss most, if not all of 2020, but there's a chance he could be ready to go by 2021.
