I was in a wedding Saturday during the game and I couldn’t really watch it as closely as I wanted to. Did Trey Amos play much? How did he look?

According to a BOL article from today:

Trey Amos – 33 snaps (51.6%)

Amos also played well, especially in run defense.

Started the game as the 6th DB so he was playing sparingly at first, basically 3rd and long. Moore got hurt early in the 3rd so Arnold kicked inside to the slot and Amos replaced him outside on the left. McKinstry left the game a series later so he moved over to the right and Earl Little played on the left. To answer the question, I thought he looked serviceable with the caveat that MTSU didn't really attempt to test the secondary down the field. Big kid with long arms. Probably the most physical of the corners. Showed willingness to get dirty in run support. Need to see a little more of him.

Little and Amos kinda struggled at times, but they did solid job for someone with no experience.

They might slide Arnold in and play Amos. That combo seemed better than Little replacing cold.

Most definitely and they all seem to be versatile.
