This next game against Auburn has all the making to be like the Ole Miss game earlier.

It looks like our women are about to knock off Georgia at home.

I really don't like this game in Auburn. Canty is one of the best shooting guards in the SEC and Auburn is a very dangerous scoring team.

It's basically a must win situation for us.

Start 1-4 in conference play and we are dead.

We are still in Palm's latest bracket. If we win tomorrow night, I think we will be 4-3 heading to our road game at USC.

Maybe cook a way for Bama to make free throws

I'm seeing Bama as a 2.5 point favorite tomorrow

Yep.

These are the games Bama has to win if they've got any shot at the post season. It will probably take 7-8 conference wins to get a NIT bid and a couple more to be on the NCAA bubble. Even putting aside what it would do to the RPI, if Bama loses this game it gets very hard to find enough wins on the remaining schedule.

A loss to auburn really wouldn't hurt our RPI, but a win would do wonders because it'd be a road win against a top 75 team.

Had no idea they were that high. I assumed they'd be in the 100s....

I posted this on tRant, but for Alabama to have a chance tonight, they absolutely have to stop Canty and defend the perimeter. I've only seen AU a few times this season, but they really don't look like a solid team in the paint. I'm hoping Alabama can show up the way they did vs Vandy in terms of making good passes, attacking the rim, and setting up the 3 for Edwards, Norris, and Obasahan. Taylor has done well recently and held his own vs Vanderbilt.

They're paper thin. Since Dunans got hurt, they're down to about 7 guys that get 10 or more minutes a game. Now Canty's got a questionable ankle and he's literally their only scholarship point guard available.

This is one of the few times when the numbers are in our favor. If we can go up tempo and attack, Auburn's going to have a hard time keeping up.
