Woooooow. Idk if that means we needed room for someone better or what. I didn't expect him to transfer and didn't want him to.

I would guess we need space. I had mentioned something earlier, after the season, that I wouldn't mind seeing him transfer. He could get hot every once in awhile, but it was few and far between.

Yeah I won't miss his shooting. It hurt us more than helped us. But I will miss his shiftiness and his free throws.

Justin Coleman is transferring! Thank you Jesus! He is my least favorite player on the team besides Michael Kessens. I hope he takes Kessens with him.
Coleman is just too short to make a difference at this stage. I have no doubt he dominated his high school career with his speed and probably looked great on tape, but the dude just doesn't have it at this level. when he drives hes too short to get a shot up.

I hate that he's transferring. Obviously he hasn't performed like we thought he would coming in, but I still had hopes that he could become a really good PG. AJ Jr better be able to provide good backups minutes at pg or we will be in the same predicament we were in this past year.

PLEASE, let Kessens transfer

If we sign 3 players then sure, we needed the space, but that's not likely happening.
I definitely hate this. It wouldn't have surprised me if he was our leading scorer. Inconsistent players that periodically show case a lot of talent are usually the ones that have breakout seasons (see Retin). Now this means we are relying on AJjr for minutes.

Tell that to Tyler Ulis. All Coleman lack is confidence. The talent is there.

Ullis also knew how to hit a floater and finish at the rim. Coleman could do neither, though I still had hope he would figure it out.

Kessens just announced he's leaving too. He might be the most disappointing player I can remember us signing.

Sounds like today is spring cleaning day. Coach must expect a lot of new guys. I'm excited

I loved this team so much this year. Got attached to these players more than any other team I've watched. It's sad to see them go but I know it's best for us if they go. Mainly Kessens.

Very disappointing to hear that Coleman's leaving. I just don't get how that helps us. AJ jr better be more than we think he is because we don't seem to be recruiting any PG's.
I like Dazon but we still don't know much about him. His complete refusal to shoot the ball from anywhere outside of ten feet was a bit worrisome. Would have been interesting to see how defenses would have eventually played him once they picked up on that.

Good luck to Kessens. Tremendously disappointing player but whatever, he didn't seem like a bad guy.

could be a few JUCO kids who can help right away or a senior who has eligibility left. I called these two transfers weeks ago, even if I did not post them here.

Justin Coleman is just too short to compete at this level.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I'm sorry, I would have responded to this post about 10 minutes ago, but I immediately fell in the floor laughing as soon as I read your post, and just now was able to get back up. This guy just compared Justin Coleman's skillset to Tyler Ulis. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Plus, you didn't read my post right. Obviously I know a short guy can play ball. Mugsy Bogues and Spud Webb made a difference in the pro game. I know that. I'm saying, at his size, Justin Coleman isn't good enough to make a difference. He has good speed, but not fast enough to get the separation to be able to put the ball over the 6'10'' big men's hands and consistently make a shot. And, he's too soft to go in, and take the contact consistently to get to the line. Same height doesn't matter, Justin Coleman ain't even close to Tyler Ulis, give me a break....
Hey, wait...Michael Kessens is 6'9''......Blake Griffin is also 6'9''.........let me guess, you see similarities in their games too?

I do...what am I missing?

Good luck to both of them, but glad they got processed from our program. Had a feeling Kessens was on his way out after the season.
