Tomorrow's game against Miss State and Saturdays game against Missouri are huge. They're against weaker opponents but we cannot lose them. If we win we'll be 13-9 (4-6) with a little momentum going into that home game against Texas A&M. Win that somehow, and we'll have a ton of momentum when we go to Florida and LSU. If this team really wants to make the NCAA tourney this year, they all have to step up right now. It's still a reachable goal. If they're happy with the NIT, then they'll just play how they've been playing lately. As fans, we should be happy going to the NIT this year and I will be. NCAA tourney is just extra for us. I'm excited to see what this team (especially Taylor) does. RTR! #BuckleUp

Totally agree. Biggest games of the season. Win them, and we set up a huge home game against A&M. Win that, we are right in it.

If that A&M game was away, I would say we have like a 1% chance to win. Since its at home, I think we have a decent shot of winning if we get hot and the crowd gets loud. Need it to go like the South Carolina (at home) game.

Very much. Being on Tuesday, I expect not a fairly big crowd that can have much impact. Team has got to show up though. They were 6-24 from beyond the arc and had a total of 4 points from the big men inside (Hall, Taylor, Kessens). Retin can't be the only one out there scoring.

Still very much enjoying this season.

I just want, for me but mainly for our guys, for them to win these next 2 and have a huge, meaningful game against A&M in a week. It would be a big game regardless because of A&M's season so far, but if they can take care of the next 2 they will know that they still have a shot to win games and finish their season in a place that they wanted it to finish.

The A&M game is actually on a Wednesday night but I don't think that'll really make any difference. But the night we played South Carolina at home it was a Wednesday night and we had a nice loud crowd. This game is bigger than that one so hopefully everyone will show up that is able to go.

The bad thing is, Im in college and I have a nighttime history class so I'll be in class when Bama plays A&M. I already skipped the class once last month to watch the championship game so idk if I'll skip it again. Maybe I'll at least be able to watch it on WatchESPN lol

I was talking about the crowd at Mississippi State tomorrow. Our fans have been tremendous this year, especially during weekly games. Had 11,000 for the Tennessee game that had bad weather outside. No doubt we'll a large crowd for A&M

I have a mass comm class for Wednesday too that goes from 6:30 to 8.

Are you at Bama? Just wondering cause class started at Bama last month on a Wednesday, and the championship was on a Monday.

No I'm at a community college. And yeah I misunderstood what u were saying. I hope we do have a decent crowd go to MSU tomorrow. MSU should be a win but they can be dangerous if they are hitting shots. Kind of like we are

My class is the same time as yours. Mines 6:30-7:45 but I leave at 6 and get home at 8. The A&M game is 6-8 that night. Makes me so mad lol

Yeah I know. I tried to clear up what I said above but I guess it's still confusing.

Avery Johnson said Justin Coleman will not practice today and will be a game time decision for tomorrow's game at Miss State according to Cecil Hurt

addition by subtraction?

I've given up hope of a big dance bid, but I still love to watch Avery coach this team. We just don't have the parts....yet.

Yeah I seriously doubt we'll make the NCAA tourney but it's been a fun year. Next year we should make it. I think next year we'll be talking about where we are seeded, not IF we'll get in like the past 4-5 years.

Avery Johnson talks about the loss at South Carolina and what needs to be fixed. Obasohan says he laughed and winked at the South Carolina bench and that's what caused the technical foul (his 5th foul) at the end of the game. LINK

Gavin Ware and IJ Ready are both questionable for tomorrow. I'm sure they'll play, though I wish Ware would sit this one out: LINK

One of the Crimson Tide’s 30 fouls was a technical called on Obasohan late in the second half. On Monday, the senior captain explained what happened on the floor for him to receive the foul. “I actually didn’t say anything,” Obasohan said. “I laughed and I winked, so that was probably a little bit provocative. But I realized I had four fouls so I knew I wasn’t in the position to say anything. What I wanted to do was get them to stand up, the bench to stand up, which they did, but then I was on the wrong end of the stick, as you might say.”

That's a bullshite technical
