I don't think he would leave the midwest.

He would probably succeed in the SEC with how bad the league is

Did anyone watch SMU Cincinnati today? SMU's atmosphere sounds awesome on the TV with only a capacity of 7000 according to wiki.

Also, the teams only combined for 7 fouls in the first half.

I caught some of it. Was flipping back-n-forth between it and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Man all I really ask for is an arena between 10-12k with a student section close to the action.

If you want a good game right now, flip it to ESPNU. Virginia Tech up 58-57 on Virginia.

I don't get ESPNU. Comcast kills me. It's expensive as hell to get any sports channels, and my internet is so slow I have to go to campus just to run some of my job training programs.

Forgot to mention this. At the game I started talking to a black guy beside me, and one of his buddies at the game was Christian Clark. Y'all remember the walk-on forward on last year's team. Anyways Christian was saying that he wasn't surprised how bad we are at free throws because Avery made them practice them pretty often every practice, and they still missed most of them in practice

We'll go 3-3 over the final 6. The maddening thing is we'll beat someone we shouldn't (Ole Miss or UT) and lose to someone we shouldn't (Misery, L6U, or aTm).

To do what Avery wants to do, you have to have a very good to excellent PG. One that can create off the dribble drive and/or dish when they collapse on him. And somebody, anybody has to make a damn shot. Or if not, hit your free throws. We are lacking in every department. We'll be much better next season but we'll still be missing a couple of pieces to be really scary. I hope Sexton isn't a one and done. We could be damn dangerous in 2018-19.

We need to pray that Sexton is not a one and done.He stays two years it would help greatly in establishing ourselves as a winning basketball program in the eyes of recruits.Would be a tougher road if he's gone after one year.

We need to pray that Sexton is a one and done. If so, it means that he was awesome and that we will continue to have a shot at 5 star recruits because Avery can get them to the league.

I agree with this. If he's not one and done, it'll mean he failed to live up to expectations, and it would hurt us a lot in recruiting future NBA guys.

One of Avery's biggest selling points is that he knows the league better than any other college coach. It will not be a good look if his best recruit, projected to be a lottery pick right now, flops and has to stay two years.

4-2, but wouldn't be surprised with 3-3.

Wouldn't be shocked at all if we lost an ugly game @ Missouri. Should beat LSU at home, but all the other games are losable. Ole Miss gets no respect but they are a solid team, Georgia is solid and the trip to A&M won't be easy.

I almost never melt over ball games. I'm at the age where I understand there are much more important things in life than who won a random game but I'll make Kilauea national park look like an ice floe if we lose to Missouri.

We are playing the 13th and 14th teams in the SEC this week. We are 5th. We better go 2-0. Lose one of these and that's a very bad look.
