This is the first time in awhile that I almost turned the game off. I haven't ever turned a game off due to frustration, but tonight I was so close.

I'm just gonna put this game behind me now. I'm really excited for Saturday. We're not losing to Auburn at home with a sold out crowd. We're coming off of an embarrassing loss and we responded very well the game after our last loss. Avery will have them ready.

I mean, last night was bad, but Arkansas is a really talented team. Nights like this are going to happen on the road with our bunch.

We actually jumped to 57th in the RPI. We need to win 2 of the next 3 to keep the season alive. I don't think that's very likely (more likely we lose all 3, honestly), but that's the situation.

KenPom expects us to enter the last week of season at 17-10 (10-5). We'd probably need to win our last 3 (or 2 of the 3 and a really good SECT showing) to make the NCAAs. The last 3 are : @ TAMU, vs OM, @ TN.

If we get to that last week with that record......I'd be pretty happy with things all things considered.

Going to be a death match between two teams coming off embarrassing frustrating losses.

A story as old as time for AU v Bama basketball

I expect a 21-19 halftime score, multiple 3 minute runs of mass incompetence, lots of airballs and a general overall sense of frustration for 40 minutes.

I think we'll be 17-10 heading into those last 3 games as well. The last 3 are @Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and @Tennessee. We'll probably beat Ole Miss at home on senior night, probably are slightly better than A&M too but you never know. Tennessee is likely a loss tho. They're playing really good right now.

Team A gets a 10 point lead, Team A blows the lead. Team B gets a 10 point lead. Team B blows the lead. Game is tied with 5 minutes left. Then it comes down to who wants it more. Usually how Bama-Auburn games go lol

Last night, we tried to play at the same pace as Arkansas. Result? 18 turnovers, Arkansas blows us out, and we shoot 6-18 from beyond the arc (big reason because we were playing catchup). When you let an opposing team dictate your pace of play and try playing their game, you're going to lose. Especially when you have at most, 3 or 4 ball handlers on the team that are erratic when passing the ball.

Hope Greg Goff can provide some excitement for baseball this year. I'm almost numb now to every Alabama loss in basketball. I won't even care if AU or Tennessee beats us

Hell, I'm just hoping Goff and his staff can recruit and sign in-state players and keep them from going elsewhere.
I say that only because we've meet many players while doing unofficial visits/camps that are from Alabama and have offers from SEC teams, but not Bama.

Baseball is just an excuse to get hammered. I never get invested in the games

Understandable. I generally enjoy baseball though, but not a lot of people like it. It's fun when there's a good atmosphere. I only get emotionally invested when we're in the regionals though.

We're having a "Crimson Out" tomorrow instead of a white out. There will be 15,000 crimson shirts given to the fans

Honestly, I have no idea how Auburn will do.

If they show up and play even remotely like a team, they'll win by 15+. Talent wise, Alabama just can't matchup with them right now if they play team ball.

Just as likely, if not more likely, is that they come out and want to play 1 on 5 offense and ignore defensive responsibility and lose by 15

I've learned, that being positive and hopeful about Bama basketball, will lead you to nothing but frustration and heartbreak.

The late 80s and early 90s are the thread I continue to hold on to

Not expecting a W today. AU is going to play press early and often, then sit in zone the entire game. If Alabama wants to win, they need to find ways to attack it and get Wiley in foul trouble. Make AU go small and continue to attack the paint.

We'll probably have 10000 turnovers, so none of this matters.
