quote:
''We want to play eight guys. We'll go to the ninth or 10th guy, but our rotation is set now, but is not so set to where it is not flexible, so Ar'Mond wasn't a guy that was in the rotation,'' Alabama coach Avery Johnson said. ''We were struggling against the zone, and coach (John) Pelphrey whispered to me and said, 'hey, let's give Ar'Mond a try,' and I was like, 'great idea.' We are glad he came in and sparked us.''
Saw this in an article from yahoo. Interesting that it was Pelphrey's idea to bring Davis in.

Hale must be the other guy who has moved out of the rotation.
I'm really hoping we start to press more. A lineup of Ingram, Davis, Key, Hale, and Hall with so much length would force turnovers.

let's be honest, it's been REAL slow, but given Coach Curry is a proven winner at the top level and that... well let's be honest, W Basketball has to be a dumpster fire for us to take any negative notice, she has a lot of time to work her "process"
W Tennis take the trophy in this regard. Our current coach has been here for years and was winless for like the first three in the 90s. Starting about 5 years ago, the program became nationally relevant, even making an elite 8 appearance. Talk about a slow but steady build.

That looked like someone playing with the Warriors on 2K on easy mode. They couldn't miss

Holy shite. That is a colossal meltdown

I'm not gonna lie, if that happened to Bama, I might never watch another game. I would be furious

The sad part is, I could see it happening too.

If that happened to us, I would never watch another basketball game. Period. No high school, college, or NBA. None

I'd be fun to do that to Auburn.

I'd love to kill their hopes like that but it would also give me a heart attack and kill me so I'll pass

I can see it now.
Lawson Schaffer sinks the tying bucket. Game is suspended for about an hour as the entire Coliseum comes apart from the noise. New arena to built on the old site.

And then what happens next?

Alabama wins 98-96 in overtime. Interestingly enough they don't hit another three all night.
Tide plays out remaining schedule in Foster Auditorium, tickets become premium.

no way will they build a 20K arena, even in your dreams.
Posted on 1/9/17 at 9:40 am to Lordofwrath88
We need a 12k seat arena.

Or less. There are a few sections I don't think anyone has sat in all season.
