Don't go full LSU. Home teams get the calls everywhere, that's just part of the game you have to overcome.

Ok I'll admit I'm still salty from last year . We put ourselves in position to win or lose that game, but they did have a very suspicious call at the end of that game in auburn's favor that basically sealed the win for them.

While this is true, it's ridiculous in SEC play basketball. There is no reason home teams should average 10-15 more FTs a game. That's asinine. Outside of UK no one gets close to a fair shake on the road in the SEC.

Vandy is up 53-31 on Auburn. 16:00 to go in the second half.

Vandy is good but don't let this score scare you. Auburn is playing terrible defense, making stupid mistakes, and playing selfishly. If we play like we have the past 3 games, we can beat Vandy. Just need to shut down or at least slow down Fisher-Davis

It's 80-54 now. I'd like to know what percentage they are hitting 3s in this game. Auburn looks terrible

In a single game, that doesn't bother me.

I don't know the stats, but if that's the average or even close to it, that's a much bigger problem than just one game.

We're averaging 18.2 personal fouls per game- which is tied for 119th in the country.

Seems like there are a ton of fouls in every game of CBB I watch now. I don't have any stats, but it seems like the handcheck calls have slowed down the game

I believe it was in '14 or '15 when they implemented the new rules that essentially killed trying to reach in and steal the ball. A "reach in" was always a foul, but officials were more lenient in the pass with it than now. Reason being because of poor offensive performances across the NCAA years prior.

Really killed a lot of teams whose philosophy and identity revolved around physical defense.

Those rules sure didn't help our offense.

I'd rather watch a defensive game than a free throw shooting contest.

*ATTENTION*

Alabama just released a new app for use at our basketball games. It's called "Alabama Lights". We're getting a new intro video at the games and the app will sync with it and I guess everyone's supposed to hold up their phones during it and I'm guessing the phone will respond with different lights and stuff. Should be pretty cool, especially in packed games like against Auburn and Kentucky. There's a demo mode to test it out but I haven't tried it yet. We need to spread the word so all of our fans know.

Yeah a lot of CBB fans have hated it. I have too.

That's cool. Supposed to do it during FT's or something?

I downloaded the thing. A lot of the reviews for similar apps for different teams are mediocre.

Won't know exactly how good it is or how to use it until Saturday (if that's when it starts working). They're at least trying to improve the atmosphere so I'm happy. More than Grant ever did.

Alabama Athletics posted a 20 second video on twitter explaining the app and they said just open the app during the intro video and point ur flashlight towards the court (or maybe Jumbotron) and it'll sync to it and work. Looks like it's only for the intro right now but maybe they'll update it with more options eventually.

Yep. No one can fault Avery's effort. He's put in all he can to get people excited about basketball.

I ran the demo thing, and my phone played a Remember the Name remix. I'm kind of hoping the actual video has a different song because that one has run its course and then some.

My wifi won't work during the day so I can't try the demo yet
