They way Oats said what he said gave off a completely different vibe that what he is saying in that tweet.

Oats has openly questioned the commitment and effort of this team for 2 months. This sounds just like every other thing he's said in almost every other presser. Good or bad, our coach has no issues stirring shite on his own.

In truth i think nate is ready to start next year with a mostly new group that he should be able to get thru too. Hes still a young coach in years, dont forget that. Knowing the way he is i think hes adjusting as we speak .. we ve already reached out to 3 people in the portal.

Oats is just venting. He was obviously and visibly frustrated and Annoyed with this team. I honestly think he let it get to him some during the season

Which, to be honest, I have no issues with. Personally I'd probably prefer the behind closed door approach, but a coach who questions effort publicly is fine with me when it's clearly an issue if it's applied equally to anyone on the roster.
I just don't quite get Passink trying to act like this somehow the medias fault. Nate clearly said what he said, so either Passink is wrong or Nate didn't explain it very well.
I mean, except for the fact that Passink sucks.

I appreciate his openness on a ton of things, but he’s got to work on some of the shite he says to the media. Eventually throwing players under the bus which he’s done at times will come back to bite him.

I can agree with that... He doesnt sugarcoat or filter lol, so it could have came out unsolicited. Hes gonna have more versatilie personnel to work with next year and theyre gonna be able to go to different options. We werejust very limited this yeae in alot of ways

Years ago before people knew how bad he was, someone added him to an Alabama basketball group chat on Twitter that I was in. He had his read receipts on, so you could see anytime he read the messages and he was always reading everything but never talked. It got to the point where everyone in the chat wanted Avery fired and thats basically what we talked about all the time. He then tweeted something about how “Twitter coaches and group chats” don’t know what they’re talking about and then we ended up being right about firing Avery and we kicked him out

He was so high and mighty about any complaints about Avery that last season. Then Avery is fired and it's like it never happened.

He also continually posted about how this was the year we were going to play fast under Grant. He tries to be buddy buddy with the coaches and totes the water for them.

That last season I remember wanting so badly to believe it. We opened the season with Towson or someone and scored like 85 points and I was so jacked.
Then we went back to grinding it out.

I dont think hes throwing guys under the bus ... I think most kids like to be pushed these days, its a motivational tactic. All his former players from buffalo and the group that left last year love him. Hes a players coach and its why he recruits well. Could he word things a little better or give better context? Probably but he will self evaluate im sure
