We are better when he is in the game. Pringle is dogshit defensively

Well hes averaging 2 fouls every 8 minutes of playing time. He picked up 2 fouls in 3 minutes tonight. He has to not foul as much then he can play more.

Calm down! There's a lot of things our bigs aren't doing consistently. Hedging properly is the biggest issue.
The freshman get lost a lot defensively.
We just got to...A) stop running a half press because it seems to be draining us in our half court defense or...B) Be better at the point of attack.

We need to start Wague and Wrightsell
Starting 5 should be
Sears
Estrada
Wrighsell
Nelson
Wague
I won't say starting 5, but this needs to be the group that spends the most time on the floor together in my opinion.
Sears
Estrada
Wrightsell
Stevenson
Nelson
Completely opens up the offense making us infinitely harder to guard. Also shifts Nelson down to the 5 defensively, and he's been our best rim protector thus far. Stevenson isn't quite the defender Clowney was, but he's at least solid there and a great offensive addition to that group that will give him plenty of good looks.

You e been waitong for years to be able to melt about out bball team for some reason, go on drama queen.

OSU scored 40 of its points on 3-pointers and mid-range shots. And that too with incredible efficiency.

Im pretty sure in practice against air Ohio State doesn't shoot as good of percentages as they did tonight. They shot out of their minds. How many games are they gonna shoot 60% from three? This was their best game of the year probably and hopefully one of our worst.

Seriously tho Joka…I agree about the full court pickup we are running. And the Hedges on defense have been horrendous. Why did we not try Cosby or Dioubate for defense? I thought Defense was suppose to be Dioubate strength?

They shot well because they were getting good looks and were in rhythm. We did nothing to throw them off offensively

He added that Griffen was Alabama's only player without a negative +/-.
Kinda shocking.

I mean Wague getting 4 minutes is inexcusable

Lol nope. A reason I wouldn't expect the same result as last season. It's simply adding perspective to keep people like you from imploding after one bad game against a better team than we were destroyed by last season.

Herb Jones walking through that door?
Lol you were on this board during that loss, and I don't remember you being the calm one who had confidence in the team because we had Herb Jones. Herb Jones at the time of that loss was viewed as a negative net player by some and nothing more than a role player by everybody else.
It's early in the season, and this staff and roster is almost entirely fresh to playing/coaching with each other. If any team should be given time to gel, it's this one.

The way the refs were calling we needed our guards to attack the basket more. Ohio State's main two guards drove in all night and shot 20 free throws and hit 19 of them.
Sears and Estrada only shot 8 free throws combined. That really was the difference in the game other than Ohio State shooting almost 60% from three.

My fear for this team is the same as it was before the game, only now intensified.
That fear is that we have 3 really good players then a big drop off to the next tier. Who is our 4th best player after Estrada, Nelson, and Sears? Writghtsell? I'll buy that and he has been solid in what he's asked to do but if he is the 4th best player we need to ask him to do more than he is. If he is 4th who is the 5th best player?
We really need Griffen and or Stevenson to be a lot better. We also need Pringle or Wague to really get their shite together fast or we may end up having to play Nelson at the 5. Nelson at the 5 would solve some of our issues, but it's not where he or us envisioned him playing when we recruited him.

Wrightsell literally made Thornton life hell.

I still don't get not playing Cosby. His defense and his scoring is needed badly.

If you told me before the game we would score 81 then I’d feel pretty good about a Bama W.
Have to figure out defense. Hopefully it had more to do with a freakish shooting night but it looked way too easy.
We know under Nate that we’re going to be great offensively every year…what makes or breaks us is defense and rebounding. So far not so good.
Maybe 2 months from now we’re laughing about this melt. Maybe we figure it out.

Cosby is 3 of 13 on threes this year and seems lost on defense. Not to the extent that Walters is lost on defense, but at least Walters has shot it decently.
