Some people don’t favor BoB after his time in Houston, but I’ve liked the idea since it was first floated during his visit. I’ve tried to not get to tied to the idea because I thought it was a little far fetched though. He’s been mentioned for various NFL OC openings, but that seems to be mostly speculation at this point, so it’s hard to gauge any actual amount of interest from those teams. You won’t find any complaints from me if he ends up in Tuscaloosa though.

Thoughts on Doug Pederson as a potential OC candidate now that he is out as Eagles HC?

-no CFB coaching experience
-no recruiting experience
+strong ties to Louisiana
+lots of pro experience in multiple organizations as a backup QB; valuable experience seeing programs run
+ties to Andy Reid coaching tree
+Pro style coaching prep and work ethic, which may be great fit with Saban
+good performance as an offensive quality control guy, QB coach and offensive coordinator.

I really think he'd be a POTENTIALLY good hire if interested. He had a very quick rise to HC, which may contributed a bit to his issues.
