Before Bryce started leaving the pocket, Texas's defenders were sitting back in coverage and keeping everything in front of them. Once Young started moving around and scrambling, they couldn't just sit back and wait anymore, which allowed our receivers to start getting open down field. I think we might have to rely on Young's motor this year more than we did last year. Or perhaps things will open up when Harrell finally gets on the field. He's a burner and has been banged up the first couple of weeks of the season.

Yep. Have to start implementing this more. Move the pocket, tell him to take 5 yards when he sees it and hit the turf.

opened up when the 2 min drills were used too. They kept packing in their D and we did nothing to exploit it for most of the game

The offense opened up when BOB started getting him the fricking play in with more than 10 seconds left on the play clock. The players actually had time to get set and run our offense.
