Clemson has the best defensive line in the game. You do not want to throw a true freshman into his first start vs that.

You also don't want a guy out there that can't read defenses, make the hot read, and throw the ball to the hot route.

OC is going to have to switch to a straight RPO, lots of sweeps, lots of short/intermediate passes. That's the only way. No decisions, no waiting in the pocket just delivery.

Sounds good but if I am being honest it will be nice to not have to dumb down our passing game for a 2 yr veteran. We have the receivers to stretch the field and open running lanes.

I didn't mean dumb down I just meant practice the fastest delivery possible with nothing slow or developing.

Those injuries sucked, but could end up being a blessing in disguise. We still made the playoff and a lot of guys got major playing experience that they wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

Could end up helping us

I don't disagree. I don't think Jalen is going to carry our offense either, but what he does give us is rare turnovers. I wouldn't be sad to see Tua run out there, but you are feeding him to the wolves on his first start.
