This is what we were coached to do when I played HS ball. Hit the QB hard and often because deep down all QBs are pussies that don’t want to be hit. If you hit him you’ll break him mentally and he’ll quit.

I'll be honest, I cannot believe how soft LSU and Tennessee fans have been after the L's they took this year. It's like they refuse to admit that both of them lost by multiple scores, but instead believe the refs ACTUALLY screwed them over.

Both insufferable fanbases.
Both insufferable losers.

I will say if the refs didn't call targeting on Tennessee last year for the Bryce hit, they can't call the Turner hit targeting either

Well, one thing we both know... what they call on any given night seems to change (with seemingly no rhyme or reason). The amount of interaction between a DB and receiver is far beyond what I could do back when I played 30 years ago. But even one game to the next to another these days can end up with crews allowing the competitors to fight ... or not.

Thanks for bringing up the UT hit on Bryce though. I will ALWAYS remember it for the targeting ghost which was never called. If I found the crew intentionally comp'd Bama in this season's matchup to make up for that one hit last year... I'd be ok with it.
