IN first session Bama scored 197.350 to win.

Top 3 teams in the SEC are in the next session. Those being UGA, UF, and LSU

promising score as this is our highest of the season

LSU takes the crown, Florida finishes runner up and Alabama takes the Bronze.

The Tide become the first ever bottom half seeded team to medal at SECs since the format started.

Bama scores a season high for the third outing in a row.

Good for the girls. I wonder if Dana is feeling the pressure.

Possibly. Duckworth just needs to keep Alabama peaking, which would almost certainly see them make nationals (world series basically, top 8 teams).

Right now, that would appear to be the realistic top goal for this particular team.

Even if you take every gymnast's personal best this year and had them all perform it on one night, the total team score would ALMOST be Oklahoma and UCLA's average.

That's good enough to hope for a top 4 finish, but anything higher is honestly wishful thinking right now.

I was there and Bama gave a hell of an effort. I do think there was a little home cooking with LSU getting a 10 on the floor exercise when they needed it for the win. Florida did choke on the floor they had it sealed up but had a girl fall and another step over the line.
