So I want to go to the Carolina game next year as I live not too far. However I don’t buy tickets very often. Tickets are pretty dang expensive now. Just wondering if anyone has any good experience or tips on the best way to grab a somewhat good deal on some tickets.

What sucks about the digital tickets now is you have to tack on "service fees" which is almost always an additional $60 at minimum.

If both teams are ranked heading into that game, you can expect to pay a minimum of $300 per ticket.

Just another reason why I have zero interest in ever going to another Alabama football game.

That mythical season ticket waiting list we used to hear about? There's probably no one waiting now. Sure, maybe there was for a while. But coming out of covid after having 2 and then 3 seats for over ten years, suddenly I was able to jump to 8 seats in no time. Charging people to stay on the list from one year to the next no doubt thinned the list. Then add in the higher costs, the abysmal concession experience, probably a 14 hour day if you're coming from even as far as Birmingham, the fact that OOC tickets are basically worthless and sometimes you can't give them away. Now pile onto that pile all this NIL bullshite. I wouldn't be surprised if the University very soon has unsold season tickets that they have to do something else with.
