One plus to kids leaving Alabama...

We can start getting players that want to play for Alabama, and not just the coach! I've seen in the Iron bowl just how much of a drop off in intensity the game has lost over the years. It used to mean a lot more because the actual players cared about the rivalry and their school. Oh well.....sigh!

When Mrs. Terry had to tell Coach Saban he wasn't coaching hard enough, you knew the writing was on the wall. He had lost his intensity and it showed in how undisciplined we were on both sides of the ball. Being one of the most penalized teams in football speaks volumes about the coaching. Busted assignments in the secondary were rare up until the last couple of years. I'm just glad Saban didn't pull the Bobby Bowden on us. It's good that he went ahead and ripped the bandaid off quickly instead of doing a slow pull.
