Unfortunately the rule is that as long as the defender is stationary and within 1 yard of the LOS he can jump. Just can’t get a running start.

Even so, you can't put your hands on the snapper for leverage, which he clearly did. It was a penalty, should have been 15 yards and an automatic first down.

Most of those people have an extra chromsome and the IQ of a chihuahua.

Alabama is statistically one of the most penalized teams in the country and our opponents are consistently among the least penalized. This has been an issue for nearly ten seasons now. We lost to LSU in 2022 because the refs missed a block in the back on their go ahead TD. Corrupt officiating was 100% why Tennessee won that same year. And last season, officiating played a huge role in Tennessee's win over us again.

It's also funny reading all of these Auburn retards on social media claim "the refs are gonna hose Auburn in 2 weeks" when 2018 was the last time Auburn drew more flags in the IB than Bama...

These fans are not asking for fair officiating, what they're asking for is favorable officiating. They want to be able to mug your receivers, hold your linemen, and late hit your ball carriers so they're more likely to see their team win. I never buy those crocodile tears because I can reflect on my own feelings and know that'd I'd like the same arrangement for my team too.

not saying Talty would have made the FG anyways, but it would have been another opportunity)

When I used to play we could jump over and I hated when they changed the rule to penalize the defense.

Just checked, it's a 15 yard penalty (regardless of the push) or in this case, half the distance to the goal. The play was on the 18 -> should have moved the ball to the 9 yard line.

There were only 4 seconds left, may not have changed anything. Hell, we probably would have put someone in the wildcat and lost yards.

I think it was Isaiah Horton that looked like he was knocked off

I listened to the radio broadcast. Tyler Watts commented right away “ they nearly knocked Isaiah Horton off his feet” he also repeated several times “they were line up offsides”.

where they clearly interfered with Germie.

I believe that’s Horton. That’s where the ball was going.
