Nice to see Salem and Short have some success these last couple of games. We are going to need them down the stretch of SEC play.

Base hit up the middle scores a run and then nobody covers second so the runner goes to 2nd. Now a hit by pitch. Runners on first and second with 2 outs.

I have to admit I was frustrated after Friday night. This team did a great job of bouncing back and getting this series. Pitching was fantastic all weekend. Can't say enough about them. And the bats came around today to give us a comfortable win.

Troy on Tuesday and South Alabama on Wednesday, before a three game series at Texas A&M this weekend.
Troy is a must win. No more mid week losses against teams we should be beating. USA is a good squad this year. I like what Mark Calvi has done. An opportunity to positively impact the RPI with this game.
Texas A&M is going to be tough. They're hot right now. Coming off a sweep of State.

I guess I missed that the right field section has basically been killed by Bill Battle after an idiot threw beer on the field.

There was a bad turnout on Sunday. Don't blame Bill Battle. I don't care if you can't have any beer out there, come out and support the team. The players deserve better. We took 2 out of 3 from a top 10 team and the right field area looked liked we were playing Mississippi Valley State.
*** This is ONLY talking about people in right field. The support from the rest of the fans was great. We had 3 straight Sellouts!***

Yes the new rules suck and we hate them too but you can't drink at football games at all. We can still drink. No excuse for not coming.
