It really pains me to say it but I think this is Deboer and more so Grubb's philosophy. To try and out scheme instead of bully at the los. Hope I'm wrong.

It is very possible that the initial failure of Kalen to land both Grubb and Huff from the start has Bama in a very difficult position. Can he overcome?

Only problem is you're the dude that thought our inability to run the ball was bringing opposing safeties down in the box when every competent man that has ever played ball knows its the opposite. Lol

Averaging 2 yards rushing per QUARTER over the last 3 games of the year minus the D.Hill 30 yarder is... inexcusable.

Soft, scheme,... whatever you wanna call it... being one dimensional before the game begins is never gonna work.

Theres a reason why Bama would be eerily split (like down to exact yards) running and passing throughout much of the dynasty.

But sure... go ahead and reinvent the wheel, see how that works out for ya. Its looking like gadget plays to get 1 yard rushing with the season on the line from here.
