Mac Jones signs contract with 49ers

I haven't forgotten how 49er fans showed their a$$es demanding they draft Trey Lance instead of Mac. I know Mac hasn't had a great couple of seasons for obvious reasons, but he's definitely done more than Lance and his "high ceiling" have.

I wish Mac would be given a legit chance to compete against Purdy...but part of the reason he was brought in was leverage during contract extension negotiations with Purdy. There's just no way Purdy is a $40+ million a year QB.
