His putting stats really are a bit difficult to fathom. He’s at the top of the tour in Putts Per Round, Approach Putt Performance, and Birdie Conversion Percentage. He’s below average to terrible in Make Percentage from 4-25’, but back in the top 10 in Putts > 25’. He obviously has the ability and technique to putt well, because his short putting and long putting numbers are excellent, but it’s too consistent to claim he’s just that unlucky on a regular basis either. It’s hard to find a good reason for his lack of success on intermediate putts.
