Don't make me laugh.

The first championship we only made it because OSU lost a fluke game to Iowa. It was his misses from short range against an LSU team we dominated which made us need Iowa to come through.

The second championship we blew through every team and anytime we needed a big FG it was JEREMEY SHELLEY who made them not Cade.

You want the truth? Last year against UGA in the SEC CG.....

Who missed the field goal? Cade Foster.

Who made the important field goal? Jeremy Shelley.

What about against A&M? Who made the FG? Jeremey Shelley.

What about in 2011, in the NCG against LSU. Who was it that made up for his miss?

Jeremey Shelley who made FIVE, yes FIVE FGs. Shelley wasn't even a long FG taker yet Saban had him take the longs ones anyways after Cade Foster missed three earlier in the 9-6 game.

Why do I point this out? It is the reality. Jeremy Shelley, while not perfect was the one who would come up clutch when we needed him to. It has never been Cade. Cade has always had a chicken heart.

I blame Saban for not yanking him after his second FG miss. Forget seniority, we need to win and we had all seen that movie before. If Adam Griffith takes the third FG, we make it. We don't go for it on 4th and 1 (out of fear we miss), kick another FG and win by 6 points.
