My dogs, Daisy (Spinger Spaniel mix) and Nikita (Siberian Husky), obeyed English, Spanish and hand signal commands.

What's your Springer mixed with? We had a Springador. Just the greatest dog. Looked a good bit like an English or Llewelyn. Soft, silky fur. Excellent temperament with all kinds of people. Loved and followed my wife around like her shadow.

Daisy clearly had Springer looks and behavior, but I'm not sure what else. She was slimmer and less fluffy than a purebred Springer but also ultra fit and fast, so maybe mixed with Greyhound or Whippet.
Daisy and Niki live in heaven now
. Daisy feared (only) the frequent booms of local thunder and fireworks shows and water too deep for wading. Niki was fearless and loved to swim. She'd even swim 10' under water in our pool and the bay behind our house. Daisy just waded in and watched Niki swim. 
Both were loving, smart/clever and obedient but sneaky. They also shed a ton!

My cousin once named a dog Jennifer after his longtime girlfriend. They broke up and he married another girl. And that dog lived a looong time.
