Yep. We just need to be more creative with it. Line Germie up in the backfield and run some option or tosses to him. More jet sweeps or pop passes. Run a lot of that early and then keep motioning to it but running between the tackles or against the flow of the motion. Just lining up and running right at them ain't it though.

If there was ever a time to get a player like AK Dear ready to contribute, it'd be during a bye week when you're probably going to rest starters for some of the practices anyway. I think we need someone who has speed to the corner. Fact is our guards just make too many mistakes or fail to get up into linebackers off double team blocks too often. We're going to need to work outside zone and counter but I don't think any of our runners press that edge threat well enough.

I didn't mention the basics because we ALL know the basics.

So an OCs job is to try and keep the def honest? Lol who knew.
