Beyond ticket sales, it was a dumb move by Byrne to schedule these games. We knew Saban wasn’t going to last much longer and the SEC was only going to get tougher with Texas & OU, yet we were doubling up quality OOC opponents. Schedule schools like Syracuse and Wake plus two cucpcakes.
