26 seconds left the textbook says run it to halftime. the odds of a touchdown are so low. Our kick is arse. Bad decision plus the Dickerson cheap shot gave Lsu a free 7 points which mattered in the end.

Certainly shouldn’t have thrown into the middle of the field there.

Yeah...not one of coach Saban’s greatest moments! I really was surprised by this decision....even if Tom Brady is our qb

Andit's so baffling! He NEVER does that! Hell, he won't even call a 1st half time out to try and score. I have to believe he didn't know Sark called that shite. And Sark will pay the price for it.

Not unless we had kicker capable of kicking 60+ yarders would that play call have made sense

It doesn’t make sense because we didn’t call any timeouts when LSU was on the goal line to keep some of the clock anyway. It’s like we were being counterintuitive to trying to actually score at the end. And yet we still tried to run 2 minute offense

It was one of countless mistakes in the first half

If it does, it does. Keeping a commitment from a kid who hasn't taken a snap yet is no reason to keep a piss poor coordinator.

"Since the result we got was what we got, I wish we had ran the ball. I wish we had taken a knee. We had two timeouts. We were trying to throw a chunk play and maybe hit a big play. We have a lot of capability to do that. We trusted the quarterback to make a good decision. The guy broke on the ball and intercepted the ball. Based on what happened, I definitely -- if I had to do over and I knew that was going to happen, we would have kneeled on the ball. But being aggressive in the game at the time, I thought that we would throw the ball down the field and give ourselves a chance to make a play, and even if it was a bad play, it would be no worse than a punt. That was obviously a mistake on our part and I take all the blame for that."

Why didn’t saban save some click on defense if he wanted to be aggressive though? That’s the thing. It just doesn’t add up together

Saban won't throw Sark under the bus. But, best believe he cursed the dog shite out of him.
