Prattville is getting an Aldi though so at least I'll get some cheap milk soon.

The stars are aligning It really is amazing how cheap their milk is. It worth the extra stop.

How many trips to the beach does your wife have planned for y'all?

TS, pasteurized milk is very bad for your health. Google it. Silk brand unsweatened almond milk is a great tasting alternative.

It'll actually be the closest grocery store to my house so I'm gonna set up shop in that bitch.

We have one planned to Fort Walton Beach next month for my daughter's dance competition. Surge is gonna take me to lunch so I can skip out on the dance shite.

We don't have any other trips planned, but I'm sure we'll end up down there at least 3-4 times this Summer.

I have a conference in Orlando at the end of July and my mother wants to take the kids to fricking Disney World at the same time. I'm really looking forward to that shite.

I have some of that almond milk in the refrigerator as we speak. It's okay.

I just can't eat anything dessert related without milk.

We've tried to buy milk straight from dairy farmers and my kids hated it.

Don't even get me started on pollen. I love the spring but it kicks my arse. I'm allergic to everything. I gave myself allergy shots for about 2 years but they just weren't worth it.

Consume a teaspoon or two of local unrefined honey daily and your body will develop immunity to local pollens. It works.

I love honey, but I hate dealing with it I'm a grown man and I still end up with honey all over me. It's amazing.

Serious question, how do y'all keep from getting it every where? There has to be a trick or something. If everyone ended up covered in it, no one would buy it

Pasteurized dairy products frick up your beneficial digestive bacteria, cause a mucous film on your intestinal walls that hinders nutrient absobtion, can cause leaky gut syndome (google that, it's bad and very common) which in turn causes widespread inflamation problems, allergies, autoimmune disorders and cancer. The high heat pasteurization process crystalizes the calcium which cannot be beneficially used by the body. Instead, it gets deposited in inflamed joints over the years causing arthritis. If you feed pasteurized cows milk to a calf it cannot tolerate it and will puke it up.

It's not pasteurized for your health. It's paseurized to give it a longer shelf life and enable long distance distribution. The FDA is very corrupt. It protects big busimess' interests, not the public's.

I bought a brand that has a cap you can pour from without using a spoon. It's easy.

ETA: It's Cold Creek Honey Company from Hokes Bluff, Alabama. I got it at Winn Dixie.

I'm going to look for that. The last local honey I got was just in a jar. It was a nightmare.

It tastes pretty good too and honey literally lasts forever. It's the only food product on the planet that will never expire.

I used to buy it at a fruit stand. It came in a plastic quart squeeze bottle with a flip cap on it. No mess. But it was $23 a quart. Now, there's a lady who sets up a table-top fruit stand in a church parking lot 2 blocks from me. I get raw local honey from her in a 1-quart glass fruit jar for $15. I pour it into the plastic squeeze jar I saved.

I sqeeze some into my morning smoothie (with about 20 other ingedients). Before bedtime I just sqeeze a little right into my mouth. It stabilizes your blood sugar level through the night, which makes your sleep more restful and more beneficial.

I need to try that. I'm a horrible sleeper. If I get 3 hours of solid sleep I'm happy. I've taken enough melatonin to knock a horse out and I just keep going. I've tried everything except prescription stuff. I don't want to go down that rabbit hole.
